Toilet training, how to become potty trained with the Dotpot

Every toddler has to start sometime. It’s often a milestone in the development of your child, something you both should be proud of.

Potty rules ...

Up to now your child has been wearing a nappy but you’ve noticed he or she is ready to take the next step in its development. The first confrontation with ‘the potty’ does not always go as expected. Many children just prefer to wee or poo in their nappy. Their a bit scared of the potty and seem to be overwhelmed by the whole business.

You’re not the only parents facing this problem! Children everywhere around the world receive toilet training from a certain age. In non-Western cultures, it starts much earlier than here and babies are put on a potty as young as three months of age. Of course, this is very young to start and you can normally wait until your child is one or two years old.
